24 Glamsterdam proposals move to Last Call, with a review deadline of 1 November
A bulk pull request merged into the Ethereum EIPs repository on 6 October, #12442, moves 24 proposals from Review to Last Call, with last-call-deadline: 2026-11-01. It follows the Sepolia upgrade and a status-update reminder in the Ethereum project management repository.
Which proposals. The 23 Glamsterdam proposals listed in the hard-fork meta EIP-7773, plus EIP-8066 (Upgrade Mascots):
- Core: 2780, 7708, 7732, 7778, 7843, 7928, 7954, 7976, 7981, 7997, 8024, 8037, 8038, 8045, 8061, 8282;
- Networking: 7975, 8070, 8136, 8159, 8189;
- Informational: 7904, 8066, 8261.

Cross-check against devnet-8. The PR compares the list with the 26 EIPs in the Glamsterdam devnet-8 table: 23 are updated, EIP-7688 is excluded, and EIPs 7610 and 8246 were already in Last Call and stay unchanged, with deadlines of 20 November 2024 and 4 November 2026. EIP-7773 itself is not changed.
What the date means. The PR states that 1 November 2026 "is the proposed review deadline; it is not an announced Glamsterdam mainnet activation date". It also notes that EIP-7843's author had proposed a deadline of 19 October in a separate PR, while this bulk change applies 1 November to all 24.
Status of the change itself. The description calls it "a bulk proposal for author and EIP editor review" and says author approvals and editor acceptance were pending when it was written. The diff changes only status and deadline fields, plus two curly apostrophes in EIP-8061 replaced to satisfy the validator.
